Collection: Chemical Peels

What are chemical peels?

Chemical peels accelerate the natural exfoliation of your skin. They are in-office face and body application procedures. Widely used to improve cell turnover, unclog pores and brighten the skin. Results will vary by individual, but with little to no downtime, they are a simple way to maintain a more youthful, renewed appearance.

What peels do you offer, and how do I determine which one is right for me?

We currently offer SkinCeuticals and VI Peel, formulated for all skin ethnicities and sensitive skin.  Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, these peels enhance your skin’s clarity and texture. Recommended for aging skin, hyperpigmentation, acne management and rosacea, it effectively penetrates and cleans out pores. Patients with salicylic/aspirin sensitivities should not use the Sal-e peel.

What can I expect afterwards?

Patient compliance is necessary, after a clinical peel, patients can return to work or normal activities. It is recommended not to engage in physical exercise after having a peel. Do not use physical or mechanical exfoliants for at least 7-10 days post-peel. you may wear makeup as desired, although our esthetician Erin recommends Revision TruPhysical Tinted Sunscreen for best results and care.
